HEALTHCARE WORKERS, NURSES IN PARTICULAR TIRELESSLY WORK 12-HOUR+ SHIFTS EVERY DAY.
Healthcare workers have been working continuously since the onset of the pandemic. The second wave of COVID-19 has put a massive strain on hospitals and consequently on NURSES. There is a sense of alarm regarding burnout among healthcare professionals across India. In order for the healthcare workers to do their job, they need to be mentally and physically able to.
THE SOLUTION
Give them a WELLNESS KIT to boost their immunity and strength.
Healthcare professionals are leading the fight against this pandemic in every possible way by leaving their families at home. It is critical that we, as citizens, should ensure that the ones who are saving us, are safe in the first place.
My fellow Rotarians and I, at the Rotary Club of Bombay Bayview have taken it upon ourselves to support these nurses in every way possible. We aim to raise INR 45L to provide 5000 Wellness kits which will help fight their fatigue and give them the much-needed nutrition that they have been foregoing. This will impact 5000 nurses. The kit contains a hot flask and assorted dry fruits. The flask can be used to carry warm water or immunity drinks, to sip on and keep the germs away. The dry fruits are loaded with vitamins and proteins and will help in boosting energy and immunity.
IT COSTS JUST INR 900 TO PROVIDE ONE NURSE WITH A WELLNESS KIT.
So for instance:
a) INR 4500 will support 5 nurses.
b) INR 9000 will support 10 nurses.
c) INR 13500 will support 15 nurses.
d) INR 45000 will support 50 nurses.
Help us raise enough funds to impact 5000 nurses.
All funding has 80G tax benefits. CSR funding is also eligible.
THE WELLNESS KIT :
EACH KIT COSTS INR 900 including the cost of contents, distribution and crowdfunding costs. All funding has 80G tax benefits. So please fund generously.

ABOUT ME :
My name is Pawan Barasia and I am a proud member of the Rotary Club of Bombay Bayview.
This campaign of mine will help and impact nurses across hospitals in Mumbai. Nurses are critical COVID warriors and invisible heroes. They are actively involved in the care of patients with COVID - both critical care (ICU etc) and otherwise. Being a nurse they are exposed to life and death on a daily basis.
The current COVID wave has been overwhelming for them and most of them are spending long hours on their feet. They are providing care, first-aid, medicines PLUS words of kindness, a smile and a lending ear.
There is an URGENT need to give them wellness kits. This will give them the strength and stamina to continue what they are doing and help save lives. Please support this campaign of mine that recognises these COVID warriors.

We are a 19 year old club.
Rotary Club of Bombay Bayview (RCBB) was chartered on 1st May 2002. Fondly known as RCBB, it started off with a group of young individuals coming together for a Cause as part of Rotary International and District 3141. Today it continues to remain a young and vibrant family of more than 127 members and forever growing.
Being a club with energetic and young entrepreneurs with a calling for Community Service along with a zeal to celebrate life with friends we have done projects worth over Rs. 12 crores since inception, through donations received via our generous large-hearted members, their Associates and through our Club Trust.

Will we get to know the details of who benefitted?
Yes. After the money has been collected it will be transferred by Fueladream to Rotary Club of Bombay Bayview Charitable Trust. It will take from 7-10 days after that to start getting details of fund use. Once I get this information from them I shall upload this to the UPDATES section of this campaign. You will then get an alert & can read details about the beneficiaries.
When do I get the receipts?
The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
