We are a group of students who have started the mission 'Food for India'. We aim to set a plan into motion, to help change the world through action at a micro level, and raise awareness to improve on one of the most prevalent Sustainable Development Goals which is "Zero Hunger", starting locally from the capital city of India, New Delhi.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic, several labourers and daily wage workers are out of jobs, struggling to make ends meet. We felt that it was imperative that we start taking initiative by supporting them in these unprecedented times.
Thousands of daily wage labourers are impacted because of COVID-19. While the government has provided some of them with basic food packages, we need to understand that the task is massive. Many are not registered, are migrant labour and need our help to survive this crisis.

ABOUT PURE HEARTS
Pure Hearts is a Children's initiative (aged 6-18), that embraces a wide variety of social causes especially those relating to underprivileged children - education & health care, war veterans, environment protection, differently abled and special children, senior care, etc. with a mission to help disadvantaged, mainly “children for children in need”.
It was the vibrant energy of five young children that led to the birth of Pure Hearts in 2014. Pure Hearts now has over 100 children volunteers from Delhi-NCR; a powerhouse of energy and passion that aims to make a difference in today’s world. During the pandemic, Pure Hearts has helped several daily wage labours with food packs.

The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
How does crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly.
It’s a concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online.
