THE BACKGROUND
Child beggary is one of the most heartbreaking and pertinent problems prevalent in our country. National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) reports about 300,000 children are forced to beg on the streets, railway stations and in many other lousy places. Most children are forced into beggary due to poverty and lack of education among parents. Due to threats to life, beating and violence the children don't have a way out. They are just stuck and they accept their fate as beggary as their way for survival.
THE SOLUTION
MOM Foundation has been helping children by providing them with accommodation, food, education and clothes. They provide children with a place of safety and refuge with opportunities such as education and health with a view to help them grow in a healthier environment, which can help them achieve greater heights in life.
Just INR 2000 will help one child for a month.

ABOUT ME
My name is Jason Theodore doing my final high school year at Kodaikanal International School.
I am doing this campaign to help child beggars, for they didn't choose, but are often forced into beggary. These helpless children are abused physically and emotionally as they could not resist their selfish and short-sighted parents or so-called caretakers who force them into begging.
I believe that every child should have access to education and lead a happy life in a healthy environment. The fact that just INR 2000 will help one child for a month made me realise that I should do something about it.

MOM FOUNDATION, a Regd NGO, in Vellore, extensively seek to rescue such children and provide them with a place of safety and refuge with other opportunities such as education and parental care with a view to help them grow in a healthier environment, which can help them achieve greater heights in life. Over a period of 15 years of service, 100+ children are helped and being cared at their Karunalaya Children Home. This home is seen as a monument of hope to these children as they are being rescued from their appalling backgrounds.

Will we get to know the details of how the money was spent?
Yes. After the money has been collected it will be transferred by Fueladream to the M.O.M. FOUNDATION. It will take from 2 to 3 months after that to get details of fund use. Once we get this information from them, we shall upload this to the UPDATES section of this campaign. You will then get an alert & can read details about the impact we have made and how the money has been spent.
