THE BACKGROUND
COVID -19 has created a massive challenge for many orphanages & old age homes in Hyderabad and Telangana. They have not received adequate support during COVID-19 and the lockdown, and their funding has also been stretched thin due to the state of the economy. This, along with severe resource constraints, puts the children and the elderly folk they care for at great risk.
The NGO - Concern India Foundation has taken the initiative to supply individual ration & hygiene kits to such institutions in and around Hyderabad that would support a child/ an elderly person for six weeks at just INR 1500.
THE PEOPLE YOU WILL HELP
There are a total of 650 children and elders who require our help. It costs (approx.) INR 10L to impact them for 6 weeks. Any funds raised beyond that will be used to help them for longer.

ABOUT ME
My name is SANJNA BODA. I am 16 years old and in Grade 11 at the International School of Hyderabad.
Orphanages and old-age homes in and around Hyderabad have been severely impacted due to the pandemic as their funding has dried up. It is important to ensure that the ration and hygiene needs of the old and the young at these old-age homes and orphanages are met. We are the privileged ones and it is our duty to step up to help them through these difficult times. I request all of you to support my campaign so that we can ease their hardship in our own small way.
This campaign aims to provide hygiene and ration kits to orphanages and old age homes across Hyderabad and is done by Concern India Foundation in close coordination with the local administration. Let's come together and do our bit to help them.

ABOUT CONCERN INDIA FOUNDATION
Concern India Foundation was set up in 1991 as a registered non-profit, public charitable trust to extend financial and non-financial support to grassroots level NGOs working in the areas of education, health and community development. They work with and through grassroots organisations that have passion and purpose but are strapped for funds. They help such organisations with not just funding but also capacity building, systems and planning so that they are able to continue their work even after the duration of financial support. Over the past 25+ years, we have strengthened and supported over 1,000 NGO partners across the country through offices in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Pune.

Funding for this campaign is eligible for tax breaks as Concern India Foundation is a registered NGO & you can avail of benefits under section 80G of IT act. Foreign funding is accepted.
FEEDBACK THAT YOU GET
To ensure that there is complete transparency I shall get a report from NGO telling me who benefitted from the funding. The details will then be posted on the UPDATES section of my campaign. The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
