THE PROBLEM
India has a total of 56 million drop-outs, a majority of which are girls. The reasons for this vary from child marriage to seeking employment and having a lack of financial assistance. Parents don't consider educating their daughters as important as educating their sons. Lack of education severely limits the life prospects of girls and young women from underserved communities. However, they can break the vicious cycle of poverty through better jobs, but for that, higher education is imperative. This issue is a lot more drastic now due to the loss of income as a result of COVID-19.
THE SOLUTION
Project Arambha is an initiative that aims to help academically brilliant girls from economically distressed backgrounds have a rewarding college experience. There are currently 30 girls in need of such support, each of their fees averages out to be INR 35,000. Through this campaign, we aim to raise INR 25,000 for each girl so that a major portion of their fees is looked after. These are students who have studied in the school run by RADIANT LIFE CHARITABLE TRUST.
ABOUT PROJECT ARAMBHA
Project Arambha is an initiative co-founded by two 17-year-olds from DPS Bangalore North: Disha Panda and Haneen Farid. Their aim is to educate academically-brilliant underprivileged girls between the age of 17-22 years from dropping out of their education. They have collaborated with a UN-accredited NGO called 1M1B (1 Million for 1 Billion), who guided them throughout this project. They have also been selected to present at the 1M1B Activate Impact Summit that is going to be held at the UN Headquarters, New York.
ABOUT ME
My name is AADI TIWARI. I am 16 years old and in Grade 11 at DPS Bangalore north School.
I have undertaken this campaign because I think being able to impact the life of a fellow student (who possibly is my age) by supporting their education for a year would be incredible.
The fact that just INR 25000 can fund the higher education of a student for a year is something that made me want to do this even more. Please fund my campaign as your funding will have a profound impact on the girl's life. This will not just educate them but give them confidence, a livelihood, and transform their lives and their family's lives. These girls come from very poor homes and are usually first-generation learners ( ie their parents typically cannot sometimes even read and write). Education is the only tool for them to get out of the vicious cycle of poverty which typically plagues such families.
Let us make a difference together. The more we raise the bigger impact and transformation we can make.

ABOUT THE NGO
Radiant Life Charitable Trust (est. 1998) is a non-governmental organization that works among the lower- and middle-class migrant community in Byrathi village, Bangalore. The focus is the children growing up in this community and we seek to address three core areas of pressing need- education, healthcare and advocacy. These services are provided primarily through the Child Development Centre which oversees the Radiant Children’s Home and Radiant Shema School. In 2000, Radiant Shema School was born with the vision of providing a holistic education for the underprivileged children of the community. some of the programs are: Educational Sponsorship Mid-day Meal Life Skills Vocational Training Over the years, we have witnessed the growth and maturing of many young lives and dreams.

Will we get to know the details of who benefitted?
Yes. After the money has been collected it will be transferred by Fueladream to RADIANT LIFE CHARITABLE TRUST. We will update you on the details of the beneficiaries as soon as possible. Once we get this information we shall upload a report on the UPDATES section of this campaign. You will then get an alert & can read details about the beneficiaries.
When do I get the receipts?
The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
