Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the consequent migrant crisis, labourers and daily wage workers are out of jobs, struggling to make ends meet. We felt that it was imperative that we start taking initiative by supporting them in these unprecedented times.
Thousands of daily wage labourers are impacted because of COVID-19. While the government will provide some of them with relief packages we need to understand that the task is massive. Many are not registered, are migrant labour and need our help to survive this crisis.
Funds from this campaign will be utilized in Uttar Pradesh.

ABOUT ME
My name is Khushi. I am 17-years-old and a student at Pathways School Gurgaon.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us in different ways. Perhaps the hardest hit is the daily wage earners, migrant labour and the financially poor. Suddenly they are without any source of income, and they are not able to provide food or the basic hygiene facilities to their families. They fear starvation more than the virus itself. At this juncture, we, the more privileged sections of the society need to step up to support them in this difficult time. The lockdown being extended puts an additional burden on them.
I request all of you to support my campaign so that we can also contribute to their well-being in our own small little way. Let's come together and do our bit to help our fellow countrymen.

INDIAN AGAINST COVID
INDIANAGAINSTCOVID.ORG is a platform enabling transparent and efficient nationwide dialogue and transactions between prospective donors and registered NGOs. When NGOs list their requirements on our website, we initiate a fast-tracked process of getting them in touch with suitable donors based on demand and demographics. IAC is also working in the sectors of mental health by giving free sessions with psychologists to anyone in need, and also getting daily wage workers to get recruited in the factories. IAC aims to help as many people possible in India.
They are instrumental in coordinating efforts to supply ration packs to economically vulnerable communities across India.
UMMEED
The mission is to empower people to overcome poverty by enhancing healthcare, education, reducing hunger with skill development.
With the aim of educating economically weaker children and making them better citizens of society, the Ummeed Sikshalay started in July 2009 in Ujariyaon, Gomti Nagar Lucknow. It is working to bring children from the neglected sections of the society such as garbage collectors, child labourers, economically weaker children etc. and is continuing their efforts to connect them with the mainstream of education so that they can be a responsible citizen.
Cleanliness and Environmental Awareness Program Under this initiative, a continuous campaign is being organized by the society for tree plantation, cleanliness awareness program and waste management. Under this endeavour, efforts are being made to ensure the involvement of people through committees in different areas of the city.
