Thousands of daily wage labourers are impacted because of COVID-19. While the government will provide some of them with relief packages we need to understand that the task is massive. Many are not registered, are migrant labour and need our help to survive this crisis.

My name is SAMYUKTHA KUMAR. I am 16 years old and a Grade 11 student at The International School Bangalore
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us in different ways. Perhaps the hardest hit is the daily wage earners, migrant labour and the financially poor. Suddenly they are without any source of income, and they are not able to provide food or the basic hygiene facilities to their families. They fear starvation more than the virus itself. At this juncture, we, the more privileged sections of the society need to step up to support them in this difficult time. The lockdown being extended puts an additional burden on them.
I request all of you to support my campaign so that we can also contribute to their well-being in our own small little way. Let's come together and do our bit to help our fellow countrymen.

Bal Utsav brings life-changing education to children living in poverty around the world. Our sphere of activities address issues that are common across different segments of society while being sensitive to diverse geographies and backgrounds.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, we are working towards helping daily wage labourers and others who are in need by providing them with food/ration packs and cooked meals.
TAX BENEFITS
Funding for this campaign is eligible for tax breaks as BAL UTSAV is a registered NGO & you can avail of benefits under section 80G of IT act. Foreign funding is accepted too.
