I am MAHAK TIWARI, 24 years old and currently in my final year of MBA at IIM, Ahmedabad.
I am running a crowdfunding campaign to provide toy-houses to students in govt schools across Ahmedabad. These toy-houses have been designed by Navsarjan Trust and can be used to learn about the constitution.
Each house cost just INR 300. This campaign aims to raise INR 30000 and provide toy-houses to 100 classrooms in govt schools across Ahmedabad. This is being done in partnership with the NGO, Navsarjan Trust.

ABOUT NAVSARJAN TRUST
Navsarjan Trust is a grassroots Dalit organisation based in Gujarat, India. It was founded in 1989 by Martin Macwan to empower Dalits in Gujarat and beyond. Since November 2004, It has been led by Manjula Pradeep who has been working in the organisation since June 1992.
Navsarjan Trust has established 'Dalit Shakti Kendra In Gujarat. Navsarjan's core work is to create awareness among the marginalised and oppressed communities in such a way that people are able to develop independent thinking about the world around them so that they can fight oppression and Inequality without the organisation's support
TAX BENEFITS
Funding for this campaign is eligible for tax breaks as Navsarjan Trust Is as an NGO and a registered trust. You can avail of benefits under section 80G of the IT act.
FEEDBACK
To ensure that there is complete transparency I shall get a report from NGO (this takes between 2 to 4 months usually after the funds are raised & transferred to them) telling me who benefitted from the funding. The details will then be posted on the UPDATES section of my campaign. As soon as I post an update, the platform will send an SMS and EMAIL alert to all the funders - i.e. to you. That's transparent right.

When do I get the receipts?
It takes up to 2-3 weeks after the campaign is closed for the monies to be transferred to the NGO. The receipts will start getting processed about 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
How does crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly.
It’s a concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online.
