When it comes to learning and teaching ,do students actually have a choice? We have decided to answer this challenge by creating PROCKC- by providing a CHOICE in EDUCATION!
PROCKC is a digital platform for enabling learners to access content that is produced by their peers, teachers or industry professionals. We are building an online classroom, where users can interact freely with each other thereby breaking the monotony of a regular online class. It's a state of the art educational network that brings together teachers-students-professionals in a seamless environment.
PROCKC is designed to be a one stop destination for all your learning needs. Users can share and also have access to learning contents right from a page of a text book to an entire course.The CHOICE is yours! The best thing about PROCKC is it brings together content produced by a diverse set of people from different locations and caters to changing learning needs of people.

PROCKC is envisaged to transcend socio-economic, geographical, temporal, physical, linguistic & structural barriers in the propagation of knowledge & skills. We, at PROCKC, have tried to understand these barriers at students, teachers & working professional's level. Few observations are as follows :
Various factors influence our ability to learn. Pedagogy, that is "the method of teaching", being a decisive one among them. Every student has their own pace of learning new things. In a conventional environment, students have to follow a pace & method of the teaching catered to them. Some would feel this method of teaching inadequate.
If a student wants to learn something from a particular source, but the source is out of reach due to geographical or economical reasons, then they might have to have a compromise with learning. These barriers to learning have dwindled the life of many. PROCKC wants to shatter this scenario.
Seen from a view of Teaching fraternity, there are issues as well that needs to be addressed. Teachers have a limited way to connect with the student. Teachers have to manage the seating space & create an ambient learning atmosphere to teach a group of students. Despite that, only a few are able to connect with a large group of students at once. They have to create batches & deliver the same lecture again & again.This is a misuse of resources. Teachers have no time to improve their skills. With technology, we can remove the infrastructural barriers in the propagation of knowledge & better utilize the human resources. Teachers can expand their reach in multiple ways and simultaneously earn monetary rewards & self-satisfaction.
There are many working professionals from diverse sectors, who want to share their knowledge with the present & future generations. But due to many constraints, like structural, temporal or geographical, they are not able to communicate with the audience. Thus a platform where they can create the content at their pace & their availability, will help to connect many knowledgeable & eager minds together.
So, we question the basic premise of such learning in this age of advanced digital technology which is around us. Why must a knowledge be chained to a few source devoid of choices? Why not use technology to develop a platform open to all to propagated the knowledge seamlessly?

THE PROCKC MODEL
PROCKC is designed to provide a wholesome education environment. To achieve this, PROCKC has ten modules each with a different function intended to set up an online classroom.
With all these features together, PROCKC will create an environment of a classroom which is familiar and fun.

PROCKC - ADDING VALUE
With choices aplenty, students can literally browse various choices of teaching available online and make it a regular feature to be notified of the content when it is posted.
Students only are required to pay a nominal charge for a particular lecture/course only once. After that, it will be always free to access.
The monotony of a typical online class is broken on PROCKC. We are creating multiple tools like social network to create an environment in which student is self motivated.
PROCKC is a source of renumeration for those with a passion for teaching.
PROCKC - ADVANTAGES
Every user can create content easily without investing much into the infrastructure.
The teachers on PROCKC can be a working professional who can fulfill their desire to teach skills to others.
The teacher or student is free from any sort of allegiance. They don't have to be associated or employed with PROCKC to create content on it.
Teachers or skill-holders can create content on their pace without any pressure.
Teacher's income from PROCKC in not dependent upon the advertisement their page or class can bring upon. Rather it is based upon Pay Per View concept, which will assure them income on every single visibility of their content and transparent mode of payment.
The content created by users is not the property of PROCKC, but only managed my PROCKC to reach an audience.This will create an online repository of shareable knowledge.
This is a teacher friendly portal. Teachers have the freedom to create content as per their comfort level. There is no fixed template or guideline.
Educational institutes can manage & organize their different classes on PROCKC in multiple ways.
PROCKC will strictly not allow any kind of content which is not appropriate for a learning environment. Strict monitoring of the content will be done.
For the initial launch, PROCKC will be available through a web-based portal.
If we are able to raise more funds, we will use that to the development of Android & iOS Apps for PROCKC Modules.

1) What is different in PROCKC from other portals which are free?
PROCKC is solely dedicated to education. PROCKC runs on pay per view format and there will be no disturbance (like advertisements) while viewing the content on the portal. The content on it shall be monitored for anything that is not palatable in the learning environment.
2) Does PROCKC employ teachers?
No. We don't employ. That is the beauty of PROCKC. We are creating this for people who simply have a flair to share their knowledge or skill with others. 3) What do you mean by credit points being offered under rewards?

The levels are a part of gamification in PROCKC. It goes something like this:

5)How will teachers earn?
Users who access learning content will pay for what they view. It will be deducted from their linked wallet. The payment will then be shared with teachers in a pre determined ratio.

Teachers can earn based on views. In PROCKC there are no criteria for teachers. Anyone can become a teacher and post learning content online.
