KIDS For KIDS INITIATIVE: Me and my fellow school mates at the CLM Sishya OMR School in Chennai are raising awareness and funds to transform the lives of children who come from financially backward homes in rural areas of TN. These children are from villages in different parts of Tamil Nadu.
An NGO named AIM for Seva has built Chatralayams or free student hostels, where the children are provided with accommodation, food, uniforms, books, and school supplies – all for free. They attend a nearby school, and their studies at the school are also sponsored by AIM for Seva. The expenses per child come up to INR 36,000, of which education comes up to INR 10,000.
This fundraising campaign is to support the education of a child for an entire year. Through this campaign, I want to raise INR 20,000 to fund the education of a child for 2 full years.
Just INR 10,000 will fund the education of 1 child for 1 full year. Help me raise INR 20,000 or more to help a child for 2 years or more.

AIM for Seva is a registered pan-Indian trust based out of Chennai. They have 97 Chatralayam across 16 states in India. In Tamil Nadu, they have a total of 24 Chatralayams (of which 18 are for boys and 6 are for girls). These 24 Chatralayams house 873 needy students from different villages and tribal settlements across Tamil Nadu. Please fund this campaign and let us, together, transform the lives of children in rural India. Since AIM for Seva is an NGO, all funding are eligible for 80G tax benefits.

ABOUT THE NGO AND CHATRALAYAM
ABOUT ME AND MY CAMPAIGN
My name is ESHITA SHREE.S.I am 14 years old and I am in Grade IX at the CLM SISHYA OMR SCHOOL, Chennai.
I have undertaken this campaign because I think being able to impact the life of a student in rural TN by helping to support their education for 2 full years would be incredible. Education is a powerful weapon that helps every one especially children from poor homes to get out of the vicious cycle of poverty. In the process not only the families get benefitted but also it leads to the upliftment of the society. These children live in hostels called CHATRALAYAMS. Their stay, food, and other costs are taken care off. This campaign of mine is to fund their education which costs INR 10000 per annum.
The fact that I can help a student for 2 entire years by raising just INR 20000 made me want to do this even more! Afterall education is not a privilege but a mere necessity that every child deserves. Please fund my campaign as a simple act of kindness on your part can have a profound impact on a child’s life. Your act of goodwill can succour them education, confidence and a chance at success in life.
As an individual, I am trying to raise INR 20000 to impact one child for 2 years, by funding their education. If I collect more funds, it will be used to transform the lives of more children. Let us make a difference together. Together we can achieve more!
ABOUT AIM FOR SEVA
A registered charitable trust, AIM for Seva’s journey helps provide children in rural India with access to education and prepares them for employment as well. AIM for Seva is a pan-Indian organization with its main office in Chennai.
AIM for Seva was founded by Swami Dayananda Saraswati at the turn of the century. Through Seva and service, the organization works to empower rural India and bridge the rural-urban divide through education – for it is through education that the youth can come out of the cycle of poverty they are trapped in, and eventually contribute to their family, society, and nation.
Over the years, we have expanded our reach, and now have 129 projects (spanning education, healthcare, support for people with special needs, sustainable living, and community development) across 16 states.

FEEDBACK THAT YOU GET
To ensure that there is complete transparency, AIM for Seva will send me a complete report, telling me all about the students who benefited from the funds raised. (It usually takes around 1 to 3 months to get the report, after the funds are received and transferred.) The details will be posted in the UPDATES section of my campaign and will be in a format like the one below. As soon as I post an update, the platform will send an SMS and EMAIL alert to all funders – i.e., you. Click on the link given in the email and you can read about the child who was benefited.
Below is an example of the FEEDBACK FORMAT that will be shared with all funders.
Will we get to know the details of those who were benefitted?
Yes. After the money has been collected and transferred by Fueladream to AIM for Seva. It will take from 2 to 3 months after that to get details of fund use. Once I get this information from them I shall upload this on the UPDATES section of this campaign. You will then get an alert & can read details about the beneficiaries.
When do I get the receipts?
It takes up to 2 weeks after the campaign is closed for the monies to be transferred to NGO. The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
How does crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly.
It’s a concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online. Fueladream.com is a crowdfunding platform in India that allows for such pooling of funds. You can fund innovations & ideas on FuelADream and be the first to get these products or make them come true. You can also do a good turn by funding charities and causes through crowdfunding. When you fund a charity it’s more like a donation & you get small innovative rewards like a shout-out on an FB page or a thank you email from the beneficiaries.
