I am raising funds to transform the lives of Ortho-handicapped persons by training them in various vocational skills which would enable them to be financially self-sufficient and also to become a useful member of the society. Besides financial independence to render emotional and social support with the objective of enabling them to become part of the mainstream.
The costs to train a person on Computer Skills Course is INR 3000 for 3 months and costs to train a person in Typing skills is about INR 3000 for 6 months. This campaign aims to raise INR 51000 to help 17 people or more.
By supporting this campaign, you would help them gain the minimum skills required to be employed and thereby supporting the family too.

Matru Sewa Sangh started this project in 2003-04 with the objective of training the handicapped in various vocational skills which would enable them to be financially self-sufficient and also to become a useful member of the society. Besides financial independence to render emotional and social support with the objective of enabling them to become part of the mainstream.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVE
- Enhancing and strengthening their self-image with continued counseling to enable them to accept their handicap and to overcome the inferiority complex.
- Exposure to society by introducing them to take part in educational, social and sports activities.
- Helping them with scholarship, aids and medical assistance e.g. calipers, cratches and tri-cycles, etc.
ABOUT ME & THIS CAMPAIGN
Hello! I am Gargi Joshi a 12th-grade student studying at Bombay Scottish School.
The rehabilitation project was started with the objective of training the handicapped in various vocational skills which would enable them to be financially self-sufficient and thereby become a useful member of society.
A majority of the students are diagnosed with poliomyelitis and the rest have been in an accident. Even though the world health organization had declared India ‘polio-free’ there are a few cases occurring in our country.
I always wanted to do something for the society and this seems like the perfect one. This campaign aims to raise INR 51000 and impact 17 people. Please support and contribute generously.

Funding to this campaign is eligible for tax breaks as Matru Sewa Sangh is a registered trust and you can avail of benefits under section 80G of the IT act 1961. Foreign funding is not accepted.
FEEDBACK THAT YOU GET
To ensure that there is complete transparency I shall get a report from Matru Sewa Sangh ( this takes between 3 to 6 months usually after the funds are raised & transferred to them) telling me who benefitted from the funding. The details will then be posted on the UPDATES section of my campaign and will be in a format like the one below. As soon as I post an update, the platform will send an SMS and EMAIL alert to all the funders - i.e to you. Click on the link on the email and you can read about which child benefitted. That's transparent right.

When do I get the receipts?
It takes 2 weeks after the campaign is closed for the monies to be transferred. The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
