For millions of children studying in India’s public and municipal school systems, creative arts are treated as a luxury rather than a fundamental right. Due to underfunded infrastructure, a rigid focus on standard academics, and a severe shortage of trained instructors, over 90% of government schools across the country completely lack formal music or dance programs. This massive institutional gap leaves children from marginalised families entirely cut off from the emotional, cognitive, and therapeutic benefits of cultural expression.
The Baithak Foundation was established in Pune specifically to disrupt this disparity, stepping directly into municipal classrooms to democratize arts education and ensure that socio-economic status never dictates a child's access to creative learning.

WHAT IS APT PROJECT?
The APT Project (Anubhav, Parichay, Taleem) is the flagship, three-year sequential framework developed by Baithak Foundation to democratise traditional arts education. Designed specifically for public and municipal schools, the project systematically transitions children from passive listeners to active practitioners of classical Indian music and dance.
By embedding this structured journey directly into the school week, the framework removes socio-economic and elite cultural barriers, using arts integration as a powerful tool to build cognitive focus, emotional resilience, and personal expression in children from underserved communities.
It costs just INR 4000 to gift a child a full year of Indian classical arts education, and this campaign aims to make that a reality for thousands of municipal and Public school students in Maharashtra.

WHAT ARE BAITHAK'S CURATED CONCERTS?
They are intimate, live musical experiences that take Indian classical arts out of elite concert halls and bring them directly into municipal classrooms. In these sessions, children sit just inches away from professional artists. They don't just listen; they feel the physical resonance of the instruments, ask questions, and engage directly with the performers. Serving as the vital Anubhav (Experience) step of our program, these concerts are designed to spark wonder, shatter cultural barriers, and transform everyday classrooms into vibrant spaces of joy and creative discovery.

Funding for this campaign is eligible for tax breaks as the NGO, Baithak Foundation, is a registered trust, and you can avail of benefits under section 80G of the IT Act. Foreign funding is NOT accepted.

Will we get to know the details of who benefitted?
Yes. After the money has been collected it will be transferred by Fueladream to BAITHAK FOUNDATION. They will update you on the details of the beneficiaries as soon as possible. Once we get this information we shall upload a report on the UPDATES section of this campaign. You will then get an alert and can read details about the beneficiaries.
When do we get the receipts?
The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
