Across rural Rajasthan and urban slums, many women, especially housewives, remain financially dependent on family members. Despite their skills and willingness to work, a lack of opportunity, capital, and support prevents them from contributing to household income or the nation’s economic growth. This dependency limits financial independence, self-reliance, and often affects their confidence, dignity, and role in society.

PURE India Trust- NGO believes that economic participation is key to women’s empowerment. When women earn, they gain respect in their families and communities while contributing meaningfully to local and national development.

To address this, PURE India Trust supports women in starting their own businesses within their communities, helping them become self-reliant entrepreneurs and change-makers.

THE SOLUTION AND INITIATIVE:

Bano Udyami, which means “Become an Entrepreneur”, is the solution.

Through their Women Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Program, PURE India Trust empowers deserving women from underprivileged families in Rajasthan by helping them start and grow their own businesses.

 It empowers women to earn a sustainable livelihood, become financially independent, and gain the respect they deserve in society.

The program follows a structured and holistic approach, ensuring that women are supported not only with funding but with complete business handholding.

PURE India Trust identifies women who are eager and in need of becoming entrepreneurs, and provides them with the support and resources to start their own businesses.

ABOUT ME AND THIS CAMPAIGN:

My name is EVA BAGGA, I am 15 years old and a Grade 11 student at the Jayshree Periwal Intl School, Jaipur. I know the importance of startups and how innovation can change lives. However, I’ve realised that for many women in rural Rajasthan, the only thing standing between them and a successful business is a small amount of seed capital and a little bit of guidance.

I am starting this campaign in partnership with PURE India Trust because I believe financial independence is the most powerful tool for empowerment. Through their Bano Udyami program, they help women launch successful startups like tailoring shops, beauty parlours, and grocery stores etc. The program’s 98% success rate proves that this isn't just a donation; it is a guaranteed investment in a woman’s dignity and her family’s future.

It costs INR 33,000 to help transform a woman’s life. By supporting this cause, we are helping families move out of poverty permanently and fostering long-term social change. I am proud to be a bridge between those who can help and the hardworking women who are ready to change their lives through entrepreneurship.

ABOUT THE NGO:

Pushp-Kiran Union for Real Enlightenment (PURE), popularly known as PURE India Trust, was founded in March 2013 with a mission to address unemployment, nurture entrepreneurship, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities across India. Their headquarters is in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The Trust empowers individuals by raising awareness of diverse career and business pathways and offers targeted support to women, youth, and persons with disabilities, helping them acquire the skills necessary for meaningful employment or self-employment. Through personalised career guidance and mentorship, PURE India Trust aligns students, women, and youth with fulfilling career paths and offers scholarships to ensure financial challenges do not limit access to quality education.

TAX BENEFITS:

The funds from this campaign go to the PURE India Trust. Funding for this campaign is eligible for tax breaks, as this trust is a registered NGO. You can avail of benefits under Section 80G of the IT Act.

FEEDBACK THAT YOU GET:

To ensure that there is complete transparency, I shall get a report from the NGO (this takes between 1 to 3 months, usually after the funds are raised and transferred to them) telling me who benefited from the funding. The details will then be posted in the UPDATES section of my campaign. As soon as I post an update, the platform will send an EMAIL alert to all the funders - i.e., to you.
