My name is Nisha and I am in Grade 11 at the Billabong High at Malad.
I have undertaken this campaign because I think wearing footwear is something that is a basic need for everyone. How footwear can bring a beautiful smile on the rural children's faces is unbelievable. We don't feel the importance of it everyday as it is very easily available to us. These children who are being supported are doing well at school despite adverse circumstances & conditions. Most of the kids drop out of school because they are unable to walk long distances to reach their school without footwear. By organising this campaign I want to help these kids to continue their education and succeed in life. The fact that raising 20000 INR can give footwear & transform the lives of 100 children is something that I am very excited about.
