Hi, I am Gavin of Class 6LL at the Canadian International School, Bengaluru. My class and I are raising funds to help students of the Sparsha Shelter (a NGO) an “Adventure of a Lifetime”. Most of the time we don’t count our blessings. We are fortunate to have a family - our parents, siblings ,relatives. The comfort that we feel with them around is something that we take for granted. The kids at the shelter are orphans and don’t have this basic foundation of having their parents around. They educate themselves, feed themselves, take care of themselves and are responsible for their own being.The Sparsha Shelter is very supportive of them. They try to provide daily, basic skills and values that turn them into good people. I really believe that day -to-day experiences educate a person better than textbooks. It is these experiences that helps the person to grow into people who can face the world. I, along with my school, want to help these children to see the world a little better and gift them an experience of a lifetime!
